John T. Rowell, AARE, ATS, GPPA, of Rowell Auctions, Inc. has been in the real estate and auction profession since 2001. Mr. Rowell is a fourth generation Rowell family member in the real estate profession. He currently serves at Rowell’s Chief Operations Officer. He graduated from the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in 2001 and Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate in 2005.
Mr. Rowell’s duties include: Procurement of auction contracts on real and personal property. Direct supervision of all aspects of the pre-auction process including but not limited to, chain of title research, tax value analysis, and zoning implications. Coordinate overall onsite marketing efforts to include bidder seminars, open houses, sale site selection and preparation. Work directly with sellers and assist managers to determine method of sale and anticipated auction results. Manage contracts and personality settlements from auction day until closing and final settlement. Procurement of appraisal agreements. Onsite inspection of assets, value determination utilizing all applicable approaches to value. Analysis of market influences affecting value. Preparation of written appraisal report complying with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice as set forth by the Appraisal Foundation.
Mr. Rowell is a member of the Florida, Georgia and National Auctioneers Association. He has served in every office of the Georgia Auctioneers Association. John is a licensed auctioneer and real estate salesman in Florida, Georgia & South Carolina.
J.T. resides in Moultrie, Georgia with his wife, Cindy, and two children; Maycie & Thomas.
